In the nearby Badekurort Alvaneu you will get your money's worth. The 9-hole golf course , which has been awarded several times for its close-to-nature layout, begins right next to the bathing center and stretches along the meandering Albual River. Culture lovers can enjoy year-round theatrical performances by the well-known Origen-Ensembles in the defiant, medieval Riom Castle, whose conductor Giovanni Netzer was awarded the coveted "Reinhard Ring".
Alp Flix
Alp Flix is located on a high plateau above the village of Sur. A jewel created by the Walsers in the 14th century. Often referred to as the treasure island of biodiversity. In addition to the impressive nature, families, hikers, bikers, e-bikers and nature lovers can also enjoy Alp Flix. Cotti Agricultura's agrotourism farm offers various attractions for guests, including horseback riding, sleeping in a yurt or catering with their own products. The Berghaus Piz Platta pampers its guests all year round and offers accommodation for hikers, bikers, snowshoe hikers or ski tourers.
Alp Flix is protected as a moor landscape of national importance. Ice Age glaciers once scraped away the wide plain and created a finely structured relief with peaks and valleys. Flat and raised bogs formed where groundwater and stream water collected.
